Used as a precursor/intermediate in the production of beryllium oxide (BeO) ceramics, beryllium metal, and beryllium alloys (e.g., copper-beryllium alloys). Also utilized in specialty catalyst preparations and nuclear applications (neutron reflectors/modulators). Limited research applications due to high toxicity.
