Poloxamine 904 is a tetrafunctional polyether block copolymer surfactant composed of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide units. It is widely used as a nonionic surfactant, emulsifier, dispersing agent, solubilizer, stabilizer, and wetting agent. Applications include pharmaceutical formulations, ophthalmic preparations, cosmetics, personal care products, detergents, industrial cleaners, polymer processing aids, and specialty chemical formulations.
