Dowfax 3B2 is a commercial anionic surfactant based on alkyl diphenyl oxide disulfonate chemistry. It is widely used as an emulsifier, dispersant, wetting agent, and stabilizer in polymerization processes, especially in emulsion polymerization of latex, acrylics, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), coatings, adhesives, and specialty polymers.
