Tripotassium methylsilanetriolate is an inorganic-organic silicon compound mainly used as a water-soluble organosilicon precursor. It is widely applied as a silicate coupling agent, surface modifier, water-repellent treatment agent, concrete and masonry waterproofing additive, adhesion promoter, and intermediate for the synthesis of methylsilicone materials. It is also used in coatings, construction chemicals, ceramics, and specialty polymer formulations.
