Specifically hydrolyzes pullulan to isopanose (6-α-maltosylglucose). Used in the structural analysis of oligosaccharides containing α-1,4 and α-1,6 glycosidic linkages, and in the preparation of functional oligosaccharides. Shows no activity on starch.
